Introduction

The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for the management of the fleet of J/P HRO in Haiti, in accordance with operational requirements and required standards. S/he will coordinate and monitor the implementation and maintenance of the J/P HRO fleet. S/he will ensure reliable and courteous transport service to J/P HRO staff with safety as a top priority.


Fonctions

• Ensure that safety and legal requirements are adhered to by all employees of J/P HRO in all matters pertaining to transportation;
• Ensure proper planning and usage of the vehicles according to the needs of the ongoing operation;
• Provide efficient and accurate reports on the fleet utilization (mileage, fuel consumption, service maintenance, accident reports, and management of fleet resources organization;
• Administer and manage all issues and services related to documentation and accessories for the fleet (e.g. Vehicle Handover forms, log books, service books, documentation folders, keys,);
• Monitor the fuel consumption of the J/P HRO vehicles and the related documentation;
• Coordinate and monitor preventative and curative maintenance of the fleet to maximize fleet potential including spare parts inventory and re-ordering;
• Manage all vehicles, drivers;
• Keep records of operation and maintenance of vehicles;
• Liaise with the Security department to keep abreast of all the security issues; to anticipate and react to security problems and emergency situations related to Fleet;
• Develop appropriate Procedures and policies for fleet management;
• Identify the inter-organizational resources needed and ensures the availability of critical resources;
• Maintain good working relationships with Programs departments and other organizations;
• Other tasks as required.


Qualifications Requises

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree, or equivalent in Business Administration
• At least 5 years’ experience in operations, fleet management
• Knowledge of Port-au-Prince area
• Understanding of the Haitian traffic road Code
• Attention to details and quality control
• Strong understanding and knowledge of the local market supplies (Parts and Vehicles)
• Experience working in a team environment focused on projects within deadlines and
budgets
• NGO and International Organization experience
• Valid driver's license


Required Skills:

• Oral and written French and Creole
• Good knowledge of English
• Must be in good state of mental and physical health
