Services de Santé de Qualité pour Haiti | Centre et Sud (SSQH-CS), funded by USAID, seeks to recruit an Associate Logistics Advisor. SSQH is a three-year, USAID-funded project designed to bring quality health services to the southern and central regions of Haiti (in six of Haiti’s ten departments). The project supports 80 public and NGO-managed health facilities in these departments. Deloitte is a sub-contractor on this project.
The Associate Logistics Advisor will provide technical support related to the proper management of medicines and medical supplies across the Haitian health system, particularly related to family planning commodities. The project will focus on strengthening multiple elements of the Haitian health system to enhance coverage and equity of quality, integrated health services and improve the health status of the Haitian population in the Central and Southern regions of Haiti.

Primary Responsibilities Include
• Collect, analyse and transmit site-level monthly consumption reports of family planning inputs (medication and other medical supplies)
• Enter consumption data of family planning inputs into nationwide data system
• Intermediate between USAID’s supply chain management system project and health facilities to ensure constant availability of family planning products
• Create and monitor performance improvement plans for the management of family planning inputs at relevant medical facilities
• Conduct training workshops on management, logistics, and compliance of HIV/FP inputs
• Provide technical assistance (coaching, on the job training, etc.) to health facilities to improve management of family planning products
• Support the provision of FP registers and other stock management tools to health facility stock managers
• Support the development of commodity & logistics mobile applications to be used with Community Health Workers
• Support the entry of data for all family planning products and related medicines and supplies.
Qualifications Requises
Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience and proven track record in health systems strengthening
• Experience working in developing countries in areas such as institutional capacity building of local counterparts and family planning service delivery
• Management, leadership, and supervisory experience
• Demonstrated experience with supply chain, logistics and commodity management, particularly with family planning commodities, medicine and medical supplies
• Demonstrated experience with data management, contraceptive forecasting, commodity needs quantification
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-partner environment
• Experience working in or with government ministries in Haiti, particularly the Ministry of Health
• Advanced degree in health planning, health policy, public health, or other related field preferred
• Language: English fluency, written and spoken; French fluency, written and spoken; Haitian Creole desirable
