1. News Reporting
• Source, write and edit content for our news website
• Must be an excellent writer who can generate own stories and be able to create top quality content quickly to meet tight deadlines
• Must have an active network of contacts across key areas of Haitian life including politics, social, health and business communities from which to generate stories
• Responsible for driving traffic and engagement on our sites and hitting monthly traffic targets
• Hit daily KPI’s for story count as set out by management
• Specialist areas of news including politics and local news would be an asset
2. Posting content to website and managing social media
• Responsible for the uploading of content to our website and ensuring it is of the highest quality and standards
• Manage and distribute our news content across our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Build and grow a strong and active following across all social media platforms for all our news brands
• Hit daily KPI’s for social media posting which are clearly set out.
• Ensure the company’s tone on social media is consistent and in line with what is laid out by management
Qualifications Requises
• Degree in journalism, communications, English or its equivalent
• Minimum of two years’ experience in journalism or digital media
• Digital media knowledge essential
• Social media campaign management essential

Journalism
• Must be an excellent writer with strong editorial skills
• Must have experience working in a highly pressurized news-room environment
• Must be able to create top quality content under tight deadlines
• Must work well under pressure
• Must have excellent communication skills
Social Media:
• Must be able to drive and manage our media across social platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Must understand how to grow and build a loyal audience across all social media platforms
Digital Media
• A knowledge of Word Press and other popular Content Management Systems
• Must be skilled at using digital media technologies including video, photography and digital editing tools
