Compassion International, a Christian Child development organization receives applications for the following position:

SENIOR HEALTH SPECIALIST CONTRACTOR

The Senior Health Specialist manages and leads the medical team (CSP and Health Specialits). He is responsible for support and coordination of Compassion's Haiti health-related interventions. He monitors and evaluates child health outcomes, identifies health needs and develops result-based health management strategies. He serves as an advocate for the health of children in the country.

1. Mature Christian, based on evangelical Christian values; a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and above reproach in integrity and honesty.
2. University master’s level degree, or equivalent experience, in human medicine.
3. Three years of experience in Management or Supervision. Able to coach or supervise high level experienced health professional.
4. Strong problem identification and problem solving skills
5. Ability to analyze health data and provide clear reporting, interpretation and recommendations on health strategies.
6. Ability to network and build partnership opportunities with other organizations.
7. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities to develop support with the staff and to interact with churches and partner projects.
8. Computer literate, experience with the internet, applications of Microsoft Office and presentation software.
9. Ability to speak, read and write English, including the demonstrated ability to write professionally presented proposals.

10. Ability to travel domestically.

Have a valid driver license and ability to drive a car.
