Introduction
The Project Director will be responsible for all program-related activities for a large-scale U.S. Government-funded faith-based HIV prevention, care and treatment project in Haiti to a network of faith based hospitals ( Hopital Esperance, Pilate, Hopital du Sacre-Coeur, Milot, Hopital Saint Jean, Limbe, Hopital Alma Mater, Gros-Morne, Hopital Saint Boniface, Fond des Blancs, Clinic Bethel, Fond des Negres). S/he will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and monitoring and evaluation of all clinical and non-clinical activities as designed in the program’s technical strategy, targets and objectives. The Project Director will also be responsible for liaising with donors and partners, including the CDC, Futures Group and the network of sites. The Project Director will report to the Haiti Country Director.

Responsibilities
• Provide overall strategic leadership and management for the program
• Effectively manage all project staff and consultants to ensure that project activities are carried out on time and on budget
• Ensure timely submission of all deliverables as outlined in the project work plan and through donor requirements
• In collaboration with finance manager oversee grant compliance
• Assure quality control of program activities, and ensure that responsible staff are meeting goals and targets
• Prepare and review work plans, progress reports and financial, logistical and other documents as necessary
• Provide technical expertise in all aspects of HIV/AIDS and Health Systems Strengthening as relevant to the project
• Serve as principal liaison with CDC staff, health facilities and country partners to exchange information and develop professional relationships
• Plan, coordinate and effectively implement and monitor the program’s activities
• Ensure multi-sectoral/multi-level approaches to increase involvement of potential stakeholders
• Perform regular reviews and align, when needed, the program’s strategies and update materials
• Promote innovative/effective methods to achieve project strategic objectives
• Other related responsibilities and activities pertaining to the Program as required
Qualifications Requises
Basic Qualifications:
• M.D. and/or M.P.H. required
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant and progressive work experience in Haiti or regions of Africa with a similar development context
• Demonstrated experience leading a program of similar magnitude and complexity
• Willing to be accountable for results including progress against work plan, financial compliance, and quality-oriented management amongst sub-partners and staff.
• Experience working with CDC-supported cooperating agencies, donors, missions and international counterpart organizations.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory work experience, preferably on US Government funded projects of similar size and scope
• Strong financial skills including reporting, forecasting, monitoring and analysis
• High level knowledge of public health and HIV/AIDS
• Excellent oral/written communication skills and reporting skills
• Excellent interpersonal relationships, negotiation and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in French, English and Creole is required
