Introduction
AECOM is a global provider of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets, including transportation, facilities, environmental, energy, health, water and government.
AECOM was awarded the Haiti Health Infrastructure Program (HHIP) by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Under the contract, AECOM will provide planning, design and construction management services to the upgrading of selected medical facilities in support of strengthening the infrastructure and capacity of the Haitian Ministry of Health.
Fonctions
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
An HHIP driver will provide logistical support to the LTTA and STTA personnel of the project. He/She will be responsible for pickups and drop-offs, ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, and coordinating with program staff to ensure full vehicle coverage for the projects. The HHIP driver will first and foremost ensure the safety and security of the passengers at all time while performing his/her duties, representing AECOM in a professional manner; he/she should have knowledge of vehicles and be able to respond appropriately in the event of an issue with the vehicle.
Responsibilities
1. Provide logistical support to the project personnel—drive to and from locations
2. Ensure the safety and security of the passengers and other drivers
3. Be punctual (on time), be professional, be courteous-- the HHIP driver must represent himself/herself at all times in a manner reflective of the AECOM brand
4. As requested-- work hours that may be early or late depending on the need for project support staff, flexibility and willingness to work is a key
5. Maintain vehicle logs and passenger safety procedures in accordance with AECOM and HHIP policies
Qualifications Requises
• 1+ years experience working with international organizations or on USG funded projects
• Ability to operate vehicle safely and demonstrated driving skills that reflect a professional, respectful, and reliable attitude
• Willingness to learn an implement AECOM and HHIP policies
• Ability to communicate in English a must, strong English language skills preferred
• Strong knowledge of port-au-prince preferred
• Strong working knowledge of vehicles required, background in mechanics preferred
• Flexibility to work nights/weekend is preferred if requested
