CHF is seeking an experienced Rubble Removal Team Lead (RRTL) for an anticipated housing reconstruction project in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This project will assist residents of selected Port-au-Prince neighborhoods severely affected by the earthquake to return to their communities by supporting them to repair and/or reconstruct their homes and improve basic community infrastructure.

The RRTL, reporting to the Technical Director, will lead project activities to remove debris; supervise, train and mentor team. The RRTL will also be responsible for all cash for production activities inclusive of debris removal through the use of heavy equipment.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
• Prior experience managing projects using heavy equipment to clear debris after natural disasters is needed.
• Familiarity with local companies is essential.
• Knowledge of emergency response programs to prepare damaged areas for reconstruction activities required.
• Experience in working in challenging environments.
• Fluency in French required; Haitian Creole desired.
