Plan Haiti, an international organization established in haiti since 30 years, is looking for : One Child Rights Project Officer

to menage and coordinate the implementation of two specific child/youth participation projects(children for children's Rights and children&Media) and give support in the implementation of the child protection policy
Work closely with the implementing partners, the child. Participation Technical Advisor and Plan's offices (zones and Program Units) to ensure effective planning, implementation, coordination, monitor and evaluation of the activities of the projects
Manage projects budgets (planning, amendment, filing, follow-up, reporting)
Prepare terms of reference for the preparation of contracts; make requests for payments to partners and service provides
Keep records of contracts and all projects documents audit purposes
Perfom regular field visits to support and monitor the implementation of planned activities
Ensure timely submission of partners' reports; review partners' reports prepare and submit the required financial and technical reports to be sent to the donors
Participate in meetings related to the projects and Plan's programs
Support the implementation of the child protection policy on the ground
Perfom other tasks requested by his/her supervisor in the limit of his/her competence and in concordance with the interests of the organization

Human Sciences or Law degree
Good proven experience in project management
Experience in child participation
Knowledge in the national legal protection system for children
Excellent reporting skills
English mandatory and Spanish a plus
Good computer skills ; Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other pratical software
Capacity to work with minimum supervision
Good capacity to work in teak (team work spirit)
Excellent communication, facilitation and training skills
Strategic planing, Negotiation skills, analytical skills
People management and coaching skills
