Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a Consultant for the role of Logistics and Supply Coordinator, Santo Project - Haiti. This position will coordinate the planning and transportation of building equipment and materials for a major grant-funded construction project. This individual will be based in Leogane, Haiti.

Key Duties include:

- Coordinate transportation (quoting, contracting and supervision) around delivery of shelter kits and materials for transitional and core housing to sites throughout Haiti;
- Assist with the establishment and running of warehousing facilities for both the shelter kits as well as those needed for shelter solutions;
- Assist when needed with importing of necessary materials for programmatic activities;
- Working in close collaboration with the Procurement Manager, communicate the sourcing (quotes, purchasing and receiving deliveries) of materials for shelter solutions;
- Make recommendations to the Programs Department leadership on the production of materials for shelter solutions and help implement those solutions;
- Assist with other related projects as needed.

- 2+ years’ experience in logistics coordination;
- Experience working in a disaster response and international environment;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Excellent attention to detail skills and strong organizational skills;
- Experience with Habitat for Humanity preferred;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Fluency in French; language skills in English strongly preferred;
- Demonstrated expertise working with excel and specialized accounting software;
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task;
- Travel up to 30%.
