Introduction

The Future Hope Manager will be working with the children in our Family Hope Program helping the families register children in school as well as identify vocation, training and education opportunities. This role will also help the development of our internship program with businesses to increase the possibility of securing a job (where possible). He is reporting to the Executive Director.


Fonctions

Tasks/ JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversee enrollment, registration, uniforms, supplies, books and ensure the annual registration is complete for children within the Family Hope Program
Collect report cards and evaluate additional needs to educational success (transportation, tutoring, etc)
Maintain all school administration relationships
Develop a family contribution plan with each family, to participate in costs and relational support
Secure school tuition discounts when possible (e.g., multiple students attend the same school)

Support older youth as they pursue universities/trade school, including accessing potential scholarship programs
When possible, support older youth in finding and maintaining internships or employment

Contribute to team work: praying with staff, planning together, sharing updates and critical information
Google Drive management (file updates, monthly reports)


METRICS FOR SUCCESS


All students in the Family Hope Program enrolled in school each academic year
All school tuition/registration fees are paid before the deadline
Copies of all official report cards will be maintained at CHI/MDL


All families update the Contribution Plan document annually
Reports submitted on time with accurate school, internship, and employment updates



WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:


Evidence of improved educational outcomes (e.g., grade progression, exam success, reduced absenteeism)
Schools and businesses view CHI/MDL as a trusted partner, creating stronger community networks

Students are equipped to step confidently into adulthood with education, skills, and opportunities before them


Other
The staff of CHI/MDL work as a team and from time to time the employee may be asked by the leadership of CHI/MDL to perform a job duty not stated above, but within the normal operation of the organization.

Qualifications Requises

Required
Degree in sociology or education (Preferred)
Experience working with children
English, French, Creole
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Drive


Conditions de travail

Days: 6 days / weeK: Monday to Saturday
48 Hours per week: 8:00 am – 4:00pm
