Introduction
The Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Chain Management (GHSC-PSM) project is the primary means by which USAID: 1) procures health products, 2) provides technical assistance to improve supply chain management in partner countries, and 3) collaborates with key international stakeholders to support health initiatives. The Haiti office works under two of the project's orders (HIV/AIDS and Population and Reproductive Health) to provide health products and supply chain technical assistance to the Ministry of Health (MSPP).
Fonctions
• Carry out physical receiving, ensuring proper handling of stock when unloading trucks, sorting, palletizing and shelving stock in the warehouse.
• Ensure that all products received are stored in the appropriate areas within 72 hours of receipt.
• Physical preparation and dispatch of orders.
• Participate in inventory counting exercises.
• Maintain the warehouse in accordance with good warehousing practice. Ensure that the work area is always clean and well-maintained.
• Ensure that special needs goods are received in accordance with established procedures.
• Report any damaged material received to the supervisor.
• Thorough knowledge of all storage and safety procedures.
• Keep inventory free of dust and contamination.
• Always keep stock on the ground on pallets/shelves, out of direct sunlight.
• Ensure Inventory Team Leader is informed of all assignments. Ensure that the Inventory Team Leader is informed of all assignments.
• Help prepare project deliveries in accordance with existing procedures.
• Assist with packing, unpacking, destruction and waste warehouse operations.
• Adherence to health and safety protocols when performing duties.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications Requises
• High school diploma/diploma in logistics preferred
• Have worked in a pharmaceutical warehouse for at least 3 years.
• Knowledge of World Health Organization (WHO) good storage practices for pharmaceutical products.
• Team spirit
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 KG.
• Good understanding of FEFO methods.
• Be available to travel on request.
Conditions particulières
• All reports will be made to the supervisor of the assigned unit.
• Chemonics can modify the specifications for this task in consultation with the employee.
