On August 18, 2022, USAID/Haiti awarded IBI a four-year contract for the Evaluation and Survey Services Plus (ESS+) activity. This activity is to provide technical support for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) services in order to ensure empirical evidence for programming, learning, and adapting. Services requested include technical evaluation, survey and study support, capacity building and learning events, and in-country Third Party Monitoring (TPM) of some USAID activities in Haiti, which at times is a non-permissive environment. This technical MEL support will supplement the monitoring and program management efforts of USAID/Haiti staff, helping the mission meet the MEL requirements outlined in the Automated Directive Systems (ADS) Chapter 201: Operational Policy for the Program Cycle.

• Provide reliable, secure, and efficient IT support for ESS+ project. (Office backup system review. Supporting Windows PCs
• Ensure Windows and other software are maintained; patches are promptly applied, and anti-virus software is kept current on end-user computers.
• Provide a regular evaluation of the system.
• Ensure data is backed up and maintained by IBI policies and procedures.
• Provide user support on hardware, networking, and software-related issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot laptops/printers and maintain PC hardware asset tracking.
• Ensuring and troubleshooting computer encryption.
• Installing software as needed to support project needs; tracking and managing license compliance for project-purchased software.
• Installing any tablet hardware and software programs and configuration problems
• Ensure regular and on-demand IT material maintenance as needed.
• Ensure the security of the computer system (especially with advice and training).
• Ensure installation of new workstation peripherals.
• Ensure regular hardware maintenance.
• Monitoring on the Camera system.
• Maintain spare parts and perform hardware repairs and restoration.
• Other tasks as assigned by the ESS+ GIS Specialist.

• Previous working experience as an IT Technician for at least 5 years
• Degree and computer Science or similar relevant field
• Problem solver and attention to details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with diverse computer systems and networks
• Dept knowledge of internet security and data protection
