30% - Analysis (Analyzing Report specification and Data Analysis )
15% - Data Modeling
55% - Report Development including Universe Design (this also involves SQL query for ad-hoc reports )
• You will be involved in verifying captured reporting requirements and to design, develop reports against these requirements
• You will be required to test and validate reports before they are released to the business owners.
• You will be updating the current universe and writing complex reports for the business users
• Ensure the availability of the Reporting applications and the reports itself at due times.
Qualifications Requises
• Computer Science Degree or equivalent in related field from a reputable institution
• 3 to 4 years related experience in the following:
- Business objects (XI) Expert
- Knowledge of Oracle 10g and SQL Server DB
- Knowledge of the Oracle RDBMS
- Knowledge of Data warehousing design and processes
- Knowledge of relational database design.
• Good oral and written communication skills – good command of the English language will be an advantage
• Good interpersonal skills and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Vision, Project…)
• Strong reporting skills using Business Objects coupled with some knowledge of Oracle.
• Experienced working through the full project life cycle.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Any knowledge of ITIL will be an advantage
