Fonctions
- Available to rotate shifts in schedule of work of 12 hours.
- Responsible for the Monitoring the Digicel Network 7 / 30 / 365 days in the Noc.
- Dispatch the problems for to solve failures about transmission, switching, Power, Value
- Added network to achieve optimal network performance and availability.
- Pursuit to the escalation plan for failures in Digicel Network
- Readiness to learn systems of monitoring and management Alcatel and Ericsson
equipment BTS, BSC, MSC,SDH, PDH , DXX
- Monitoring average a 12 hours, 7 days a week / Month / Year
- Available to rotate shifts in schedule of work of 12 hours
- Working with all procedures and guidelines in the Noc
- Liaise with contractors Ericsson, Customer Care, Radio Planning, Transmission, Technical Support, islands and external maintenance contractors on ongoing Network activities to ensure optimal performance of the Network..
- Analyze, resolve and escalate where necessary all Network alarms and faults to the
Appropriate groups.
- Development of routine and emergency procedures to enhance Network availability
and stability.
- Provide daily / weekly / Monthly Noc reports to Staff Technology
- Check daily / weekly / Monthly reports failures to external contractors.
- Readiness to learn systems of monitoring and management
Qualifications Requises
• First Degree Diploma in telecommunications / electronics Technician
• At least one ( 2 ) year experience monitoring in the telecommunication company
• At least one ( 2 ) of which should be in a GSM 2G & 3G Networks, Transmission and Value Added Network
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent attitude of service
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Detailed working knowledge of telephony operations
• Detailed working knowledge of GSM 2G & 3G networks, Transmission and Value Added Network
• Excellent knowledge of Alcatel and Ericsson equipment BTS, BSC, MSC,SDH, PDH and DXX
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP
• A good working knowledge of all Windows PC's, Sun Solaris Workstations
• Good presentation skills
• Excellent analytical skills
