Fonctions

Main Responsabilities :
• To provide technical support and advice to program and communication staff for the integration of sound advocacy objectives, strategies, tactics and monitoring mechanisms to country programs.
• To develop staff and partner staff capacity in the area of participatory advocacy within a rights-based approach.


Qualifications Requises

Profile Required :
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong competencies to plan, prioritize, and
execute autonomously with strategic approach
• Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and budgets
• Strong negotiation, facilitating, lobyying and influencing skills
• Excellent writing and editing skills – fluent in English, and in French. Creole and Spanish, a plus

Qualifications and Experience
• At least, five (5) years of relevant professional experience including development and implementation of advocacy or communication strategies.
• Experience in the NGO sector preferably working in the area of human rights
• Proven knowledge and understanding of local, regional and international development issues affecting children and communities in country
• Experience of working with local and international media in the framework of campaigns and media advocacy strategies.
• Management of organizational relations to with other organizations through networking and alliances.
• Representational experience at national and international level.

Travel requirements
This position entails 60% travel both within and outside the country
