The U.S. Embassy is seeking individual for the position of Voucher Examiner in the Budget and Fiscal Section (B&F).

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION: The Incumbent examines administrative and contractual payments for companies including BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) contractors, and other direct purchases from variety approved vendors. Assures documentation meets all standards for certification. Contacts appropriate individuals to correct any errors detected and follow up directly with vendors, GSO (General Services Office), or serviced-agency representatives as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.

1. Completion of secondary school and junior college or specialized training in financial operations and/or accounting required.
2. Two years of progressively responsible experience in clerical work is required.
3. Level IV English ability Speaking/Reading required; Level IV French Speaking/Reading required; Level IV Creole ability Speaking required.
4. A good working knowledge of basic requirements of applicable sections of the Foreign Affairs manual Standardized Regulations, and regulations of serviced-agencies required.
5. Must have a mathematical aptitude with ability to operate calculators adding machines, and typewriters.
6. Must be able to perform multiple functions concurrently.
