CURRICULUM SPECIALIST

The Curriculum Specialist interprets and contextualizes global curriculum parameters in the three core ministries. Supports the implementation of core ministries by collaboratively developing and contextualizing curriculum for the three core ministries. Also serves as a subject matter expert and group-level trainer.

1. Mature Christian, based on evangelical Christian values; a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and above reproach in integrity and honesty.
2. University degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Child Development or related area of expertise.
3. Four years experience in Education, Child Development or Curriculum Development or related area of expertise; with knowledge and experience of child development and social research methods.
4. Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating Curriculum and Programs.
5. Ability to support, train and coach program generalists in curriculum implementation.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical writing and curriculum development.
7. Computer proficiency, experience with the Internet, applications of Microsoft Office and presentation and publication software.
8. Strong listening and facilitation skills.
9. Able to work collaboratively cross-culturally, inter-denominationally and cross-organizationally.
10. Intermediate English skills are preferred.
