Assist in design, development and maintenance of databases and data collection for MERLIN Haiti mission.
Coordinate with MERLIN staff and partners to obtain a regular information flow for database updates
Support health director in developing data collection tools, databases and statistical reports and maps
Provide user support, guidelines/training materials and training to program staff, implementing partners and relevant ministries covered with capacity building program components in the deployment, use, operation, and maintenance of databases and data collection systems.
Prepare and develop analytical tools and reports for displacement trends, needs assessment and program activities using the various program databases.
Collect data and information to produce statistical reports, queries and maps.
Verify data received by implementing partners and program staff
Assist in filing systems improvement
Translate documents in Creole/French and English.
Ensure Data Entry tasks when necessary.
Following up with implementing partners regarding Merlin data processing procedures.
Assist workshops and trainings.
Any other duties that might be assigned.

University Degree in Computer Sciences, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and field experience.
Two years of experience in database development using any or more of the following tools: MS Access, Excel.
Good writing, communication skills.
Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results; capacity to work effectively and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds

Languages: Good knowledge of spoken and written English, French and Creole required.
Work experience with NGOs
