Mobile Clinics Project Assistant Manager
FHADIMAC · Projet
At Fhadimac, I had to manage my team in order to guarantied the proper medical functioning of 10 diabetic community clinics at various levels like managing and distributing medical supplies, monitoring of treatment protocols, providing training to the nurses for their monthly diabetic's campaign awareness; while supervising, monitoring and evaluating the program and working closely with the social workers on screening for potential diabetic patients in nearby neighborhoods. The challenging aspect of that project was to find out the best strategies for having more impact on the clinics because they were largely separated geographically. Therefore, one interesting aspect of that management was to hold regular meeting with the taskforce and the members of each subcommittee, develop efficient success indicators for each clinic by identifying their strength, weakness and needs. For that, each member of the executive taskforce was a member of the sub-committee whose responsibility is to communication between units and improve coordination with the aim to improve service and benefit the patients.

HIV Medical Consultant/ Clinical Director
DASH/Mutuelle Procare · Projet
As Medical Consultant of the HIV/AIDS program and Clinical Coordinator, my everyday tasks enable me to familiarize better with programs including immunizations for pregnant women and children, family planning, preventive actions against cancer, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, particularly HIV/AIDS and preventive actions against other infectious disease such as lymphatic filariasis for which there was a large campaign this year. Also, I've been responsible of the management for our regional Diabetes Program funded by FHADIMAC (Haitian Foundation for Diabetes and Cardiovascular Diseases) that covers the entire metropolitan area. As such, I assure the proper medical functioning of the diabetic and the HIV/AIDS clinics, and of the lymphatic filariasis program at various levels like monitoring of treatment protocols, managing and distributing medical supplies, with daily evaluation of my team and weekly assessments of the service. While doing so, my interest in Public Health has deeply developed, mainly in the field of HIV/AIDS.

Emergency Room Physician Manager
Hopital Universitaire Justinien · Public
My year of Social Service (a requirement in Haiti after graduating from medical school) at "Hopital Universitaire Justinien" in Cap-Haitian (HUJ), taught me of the general functioning of a hospital and the myriad of challenges in the emergency department where I was the resident physician manager. During that year, I taught metabolic biochemistry and leadership courses in a nursing school, worked hard in teams and under pressure, supervising nurses and interns with weekly training in regards to the concepts of emergency care and primary health care.
