Legal Consultant/ Business Analyst
World Bank Group · International
At the World Bank, I contribute to a project that provides objective measures of business regulation and enforcement across 189 economies, and encourages economies to compete toward more efficient regulation. I am responsible for reporting and analyzing Haiti’s legal framework, practices, and implementation gaps to evaluate Haiti’s policies on the business and political environment. The project produces a report intended to provide information to the private sector to support their efforts to devise strategies and solutions to commercial and investment initiatives. I also have experience in the World Bank’s legal department and Sanctions Board Secretariat, where I focused on governance and anticorruption. I conducted extensive legal research and writing on anti-corruption strategies to feed into policy development and improve anti-corruption responses from the Bank and handled cases involving allegations of corruption in procurement and contract execution related to World Bank projects. I also participated in a multidisciplinary inter-unit working group on drivers of corruption that analyzed and produced policies to provide operational solutions on anti-corruption.
