In coordination with the Senior Program Development Officers and the Program Development Officers, liaises with local authorities, communities, and beneficiaries to ensure that grants achieve program objectives. Oversees directly a team of six Grants Managers and one Cash for Work Payroll Specialist and indirectly a team of 20 Site Supervisors, and reviews and compiles all weekly reports from HRI Port-au-Prince Grant Managers to identify successes, challenges, and lessons learned. Coordinates with Operations team to ensure in-kind grant materials are sufficient and delivered on time. Prepares needs forecasts for all community stabilization and cash-for-work (CFW) activities. Coordinates truck/equipment rentals, payments, and verification documentation; and manages relationship with suppliers and contractors. Works with finance team and liaises with bank to ensure proper payment of payrolls for all stabilization activities. Ensures that activity files for each community stabilization activity are complete with all necessary supporting documents.

Held increasingly senior positions at QFID over almost six years, helping the organization grow from a small office with five local projects into a large organization working on successful programs in four regions of the country. Notable programs included a $300,000 poverty-reduction project in Plateau Central; research and advocacy programs for deportees and returnees; capacity-building and network-building for 20 women’s organizations and for their activities concerning the rights of women; and conflict resolution efforts and food distribution for 5,000 at-risk children in Cité Soleil. Worked to develop proposals submitted to a variety of donors and donor projects including USAID’s Watershed Initiative for National Natural Environmental Resources (WINNER) project, and the Inter-American Foundation.
