I also acted as Lifeline’s representative in Haiti, working with its Deputy Director from Washington DC to ensure activity compliance and accountability to donors, beneficiaries, Lifeline and D&E. I also served as acting Deputy in the absence of D&E Green’s CEO.

Support the National AIDS Program (PNLS) to reduce the funding gap towards universal access to quality HIV care and treatment by: a) developing the country’s information base on cost-efficiency and effectiveness; b) securing Global Fund financing up to $34.9 M for the RCC phase II FY2013-2015 to support 47% of patients on treatment; c) developing the new National Strategic Plan, based on the evaluation of the previous plan, with a flexible 3 scenarios ($401, $501 and $630 M) budget model FY2013-2015 built from real unit costs. 3. As one of the national HealthQual coach, support a number of 3 sites to consistently improve their HIV care quality (through trainings, coaching and monitoring…) while ensuring 85% of their eligible patients are enrolled and retained on treatment to contribute to the national target. In term of Access to Medicines 1. Support the Haiti’s post-earthquake ARV supply chain proper minimal functionality correcting stock-outs and treatment disruptions roadblocks. 2. Empower the GoH through the ministry of Health and support its role in coordinating the ARV supply chain in Haiti. 3. Strengthen the expansion of the National Quantification activities for ARV and OI drugs to improve forecasting, availability and consumption progress. 4. Ensure that 90% of the patients are on optimized regimens (transition to pediatric and adult FDCs, patients on pediatric tablets rather than syrups…)

Organize capacity building trainings for the staff on management issues (procedures, monitoring, reporting …), and arrange technical workshops for our engineers at the Public Works Ministry (MTPTC) and other related organizations. 6. Facilitate community empowerment, mobilization and participation through a series of events, meetings, capacity building and Wash trainings as well as community-driven outreach activities with the results of reaching our targets with no major difficulties. 7. Help in the project phase-out by coordinating evaluations and lessons-learning workshops; and help in preparing the final project reports and presentations by extracting, compiling, organizing and submitting two years project data.
