Responsible for all financial functions of the Haiti Country Program including accounting, payments, transfers and banking, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and grant financial management. Ensures compliance with donor regulations and World Vision Haiti's internal policies and procedures. Participate in preparing the organization's annual budget and developing the necessary cash flows. Provides timely reporting and assistance to Country Director and Program team to ensure financial resources are used effectively and efficiently, timely assistance to HR Manager in participating in panel staff recruitment, and prepare their severance package for employees who leave the organization

Ensure the preparation and compliance of financial processes, information, financial reports and audit follow-up with the political and strategic regulations of the organization. Ensure strict compliance with the organization's accounting and internal control system. Also Provide accountants with the necessary training and knowledge on the accounting software used as the focal point of the system (Sun6.3 cloud) and Horizon, on strengthening internal controls, and important donor regulations. Prepare the annual administrative budget in collaboration with the financial director. Participate in the annual project budget development process in close collaboration with the Operations and Programs team to understand program activities and project implementation plan (USAID, TAWAN, Canada and Global Fund) Participate in the interview panel for the recruitment of national staff and follow up on the files of these staff together with human resources. Prepare the monthly payroll for the project

Produce relevant and accurate financial reports to support offices and donors. Participate in the annual budget and narrative budget development process, working closely with the programmatic team to understand program activities and the implementation plan. Strengthen the capacity of project accountants. Help the finance compliance manager to identify and reduce the level of financial risks for the audit. Do employee payroll, and follow up on related taxes. Also, reconcile bank accounts.
