Manage and ensure the proper functioning of the IDB Local Area Network(LAN) in Haiti consisting of standard networking equipment (Servers, routers, switches, wiring), file, print, communication, email and user workstations.
Manage 15 Servers (2 Physical Servers and 13 Virtual Servers) and more than 75 users and computers.
Ensure that Data Transmission via the WAN Network between Haiti and Headquarters(DC) runs smoothly and trouble free.
Responsible for the Information Technology asset management in the Country Office. Serve as liaison between the COF and IT Department in HQ for the provision IT Services.
Follow up with the IT Services Provider (Internet, Data Transmission (MPLS, WAN))
Train or coordinate training for users in the Bank’s Business Applications, Users Standard Software and new applications received from Headquarters.
Provide Technical IT support to local and international staff and staff on mission in the COF
Teach the users on how to use computers and portable devices (desktop, laptop, docking station, Smartphones and Tablets, etc.)
Assist in the use of office equipment (printers, scanners/senders, multifunctional, etc.), including installation, configuration, advice and troubleshooting
Provide assistance for the use of presentation equipment in events (projector, laptop, audio, etc.),
Manage and ensure the proper functioning of Video/Audio Conference Systems including configuration, installation and troubleshooting
Inventory of IT Equipment (Servers, Computers, Printers/Scanners/Audio/Video)
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisors and VIPs
