• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the infrastructure team (vehicles; repair, maintenance and improvements; grounds; security; cleaning and sanitation).
• Prioritize all infrastructure projects (including vehicle repairs) to meet the daily needs of the Hospital while keeping within the established budget.
• Maintain a weekly vehicle routing schedule emphasizing good stewardship and having as a basis vehicle prioritization, consolidation and efficiency.
• Follow SBHF procedures to purchase supplies and goods as needed in Haiti.
• Following the procedures established in the Financial Manual, assist in the procurement of all supplies and equipment that need to be purchased for the Hospital in Haiti and work with the SCM - Haiti to procure and receive these items.
• Ensure proper receipt of all products including comparing quantities received to invoiced quantities to ensure proper payment for goods received. Report any discrepancies to accounting and aid in the reconciliation with the vendor as needed.
• Specifically, responsible for working with infrastructure team to identify daily operational requirements (car parts, repair and maintenance materials, equipment, cleaning supplies, etc.) and ensure that the goods and services are of high quality and purchased at the best price.
• Manage the supply chain “tracker” system designed to monitor ordering, dispensing and inventory of currently shelved medications and supplies.
• All product receipts are to be entered into the inventory tracker within 48 hours of goods physically arriving in Fond-des-Blancs.
• All product transfers are to be entered into the inventory tracker the same day as the transfer has occurred. There will be a 3:00 pm local time cut off for transfers being entered into the tracker. Any transfers completed after 3:00 pm should be entered the following day.
