This position is responsible for managing a health and safety promotion program in 8 camps in Port-au-Prince, and supporting the health delegate in further community based health program management. Direct program management entails supervision, monitoring, capacity-building, reporting and oversight of a 2 month pilot. Program activities include health messaging, first aid provision, cash for work programming around security promotion and health risk reduction.

The CBH program coordinator should have the following qualifications:

• Experience in technical and management support
• Experience in programmatic planning and implementation
• Oversight in the monitoring and evaluation of programs
• Managerial oversight of administration, staff, and finances
• Experience in networking, building and maintaining strong relations with project partner
• Able to solve practical problems and react quickly and calmly to changing or emergency circumstances.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Demonstrated discretion in all matters related to the assignment, including confidential information seen and heard
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Training and capacity-building experience
• First AID training certification
• French, Creole and English Fluency
