Fonctions

SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES:
1. Coordinate the emergency effort for supply chain management to ensure that sites, clinics and hospitals have access to drugs and supplied in appropriate quantities
2. Coordinate training of partners on forecasting drug needs, ordering, tracking inventory, and monitoring pharmaceuticals locally.
3. Provide guidance to ensure that procurement of drugs for the program and overall pharmaceutical management procedures follow respective Ministry of Health guidelines for drug management protocols and are compliant with all regulatory requirements.
4. Spearhead the set up and strengthening of key lab reagents and supplies pipeline system that is efficient and effective;
5. Collect, synthesize and transmit data & information related to drugs and supplies utilization at the sites, clinics and hospitals as an input into forecasting future needs for the program
6. Work to develop, strengthen and integrate drugs and other supplies system with sites, clinics and hospital overall pharmaceutical management systems.
7. Maintain documentation of all work and decision making processes under CRS’ Pharmaceutical Management (RPM) Portfolio at a country level.


Qualifications réquises

BACKGROUND:
• Advance University Degree in Pharmacy or or equivalent professional qualification (bachelor pharmacy degree with at least 5-10 years of working experience in the related field).
• Master degree or specialized studies in hospital pharmacy or humanitarian pharmacy or equivalent
• Strong experience in supply chain management with HIV/AIDS programs and emergency response programs.
• Strong experience in logistics management particularly in pharmaceuticals and experience in procurement will be an asset.
• Experience in technical assistance, capacity building and health systems strengthening.
• Relevant experience in international development.

SKILLS:
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail,
understanding of logistics, ability to multi-task, ability to work
effectively under pressure and meet deadlines and ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Good working knowledge of English desirable.
