Academy for Educational Development (AED) is searching for a Consultant in Nutrition and HIV
to represent the FANTA-2 project (Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance providing technical assistance to the United States Agency for International Development (USA1D) in Haiti.

Manage FANTA-2 technical assistance to USA1D, its implementing partners and the Government of Haiti to strengthen the integration of nutrition care and support within HIV services, support the development and production of tools and resources for strengthening nutrition services, provide training to health care providers in nutrition services, work with other FANTA-2 consultants to ensure the implementation of technical assistance activities, work in close collaboration with the Haitian National Nutrition Directorate and with USAID implementing partners.

Advanced degree in nutrition, medicine or related public health discipline At least seven years work experience in nutrition and/or HIV;
Technical expertise and program experiencein nutritionand/or HIV;
Experience working in Haïti on nutrition, or other health activities;
Experience with USAID-funded activities;
Experience coordonating and/or managingnational-level acitivities with multiple partners;
Excellent french and creole written and orale communication skills and ability to write for a range of audiences and purposes in both langagues;
Superior presentation skills;
Excellent English oral and written communications skills demonstrated ability to initiate and manage significant technical activitiers;
Including dessining activities, identifying andmanaging parters, and reporting;
Ability to reporting;
Ability to effectively work independently and if needed outside of conventional office environnements;
Strong facilitation and training skills;
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with partner organizations.
