Introduction

Reporting To: Country Director


Fonctions

Head of Finance & Administration GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES:
I.- Ensure the financial integrity of the institution within the framework of the established policies and procedures.
II.- Provide strategic financial management to help ensure objectives’ strategic;
III.-Ensure continual improvement in monitoring, control and reporting of expenditure of partners and financial aid given by the institution;
IV.- Promoting and improving financial and operational performance;
V.- In charge of coordinating finance, IT and logistics;
VI.- Participate in decision-making and debates on finance and non-finance issues.


Qualifications réquises

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
The candidate should have:
I.- A minimum of 5 years experience in positions of senior financial management, accounting and administration, preferably in the NGO sector;
II.- A recognised qualification in business,financial management and/or accounting;
III.- Proven experience of design, implementation and monitoring systems of financial management, controls and accounting systems;
IV.-Strong experience in producing budget and financial reports for use by management and different donors;
V.- Experience in either designing and reviewing internal control systems or internal audit;
VI.- Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
VII.- Very good knowledge of computerised accounting packages, Excel, Power Point, knowledge of SUN would be useful;
VIII.- Ability to manage other people;
IX.- Good knowledge in Finance related to Development work;
X.- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
XI.- Fluent written and oral English , French and Spanish;
XII.-Willingness to travel within Haiti and overseas;
XIII.-Willingness to learn new financial and accounting systems.
