Introduction

The Project Officer will work in target CRRP neighborhoods to assist families to move from life in camps back to their communities of origin. The Project Officer will lead a small team of CRRP animators to register families to return to their areas of origin. In addition, the Project Officer will provide support to all CRS technical staff (WASH, shelter, protection, livelihoods) to support the implementation of their activities in the target communities.


Fonctions

Major Responsibilities
1. Responsible for implementing field activities;
2. Working directly with IDP families to identify what their resettlement options are;
3. Lead CRRT animators in registrations and documentation collection activities in the field, ensuring all family files are up to date with the correct information;
4. Work closely with data management animators to streamline family data entry into the sharepoint database
5. Identifying of vulnerable families and bringing situation to supervisor’s attention;
6. Submits weekly reports prepared in MS Word and Excel on field activities;
7. Regularly visits beneficiaries, provides feedback, reports problems, and proposes possible solutions;
8. Assists in the monitoring of expenditures and budget for interventions;
9. Immediately reports security incidents in camps or neighborhoods to his/her supervisor;
10. Performs other duties as required.


Qualifications réquises

1. Minimum of two years of field experience in development;
2. Diploma in human sciences or education;
3. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, internet)
4. Fluency (oral and written) in Creole and French
5. Team spirit, collegial attitude
6. Capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
7. Capacity to collaborate with various types of peoples;
8. Capacity to avoid and resolve conflicts and intervene in unstable situations
9. Capacity to select the most needy beneficiaries in a dynamic environment.
