Tearfund is looking in this communal section one technician with agriculture skills in the Livelihoods Department for Leogane and Tom Gato.

- Identify the productive agricultural opportunities in the targeted communities

- Take an active part in the identification of recipients in the activities that the Department plans to do in the community (generating activities, cash for work, nurseries implantations, distribution and planting seedlings, microenterprises, agricultural inputs distribution)
- Support the local group’s recipients working in partnership with Tearfund in the field.
- Work under the direct supervision of the livelihoods Supervisors
- Represent the Livelihoods Department face to the recipients of the zone of intervention.

1. Have good skills in communicating with people, good reputation and good Christian qualities.


2. have good background in agronomy or agriculture technical skills


3. Have at least one year of experiences in the agricultural purpose and in the finance management in the rural communities


4. capacity to lead groups


5. Ability and leadership skills


6. Experience in team working and under pressure


7. Ability to talk and read fluently Creole and French language


8. Be a native of the area
