Build Change (www.buildchange.org) is an award-winning, international non-profit social enterprise that specializes in post-earthquake reconstruction. Build Change has extensive experience working in Banda Aceh and Sumatra, Indonesia and Sichuan, China. In Haiti, Build Change provides hands-on technical assistance and training directly to homeowners and builders during the rebuilding process to enable them to build safe homes that will withstand any future earthquake.

As Budget and Finance Analyst:
• Prepare and track vendor payments and bank transfers for payroll
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and end of month report
• Prepare and file vouchers with complete documentation
• Track budgets and prepare expenditure projections
• Implement Build Change’s audit compliant procurement process, including reviewing Purchase Orders submitted by Office Manager
• Ensure internal control procedures are followed for all cash disbursements, receipts, and transfers
• Ensure compliance with national tax and labor regulations
• Perform any additional tasks required by Director of Finance & Operations

• Degree in business, accounting, administration, management, or finance
• At least 5 years’ experience in accounting and/or financial administration
• Previous experience with Quickbooks
• Previous experience with non-profit organizations
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and development ethics
• Proficiency with Internet, Excel, Word and other Office applications
• Fluency in written and spoken English, French and Creole
