We work toward the goal of building healthy, independent, and self-sustaining communities. The implementation the WK Kellogg Foundation’s goal of rebuilding the healthcare system in Haiti’s southwest corridor microregion will serve patients post the August 2021 earthquake and also improve standards of care
and patient outcomes through system-wide training and coordination. The target health facilities are: Centre de
Santé de Saint Luis du Sud; Centre de Santé Madame Bernard; Centre de Santé de Kay Kok; Centre de Santé de Maniche (CSM); Hôpital Immaculée Conception; Hôpital Lumière de Bonne Fin; and Hôpital Communautaire de Référence D’Aquin.
The Project Coordinator will report to the Senior Program Manager, and will have a close working relationship with the Deputy General Director and Director of Operations at the St. Boniface Hospital (SBH).


Fonctions

Working in collaboration with the clinical and administrative teams, the Project Coordinator will oversee the coordination and logistics around Strengthening the Southwest Corridor Referral Network of the seven target facilities. She/he will coordinate clinical trainings on MNCH quality improvement and disaster response
She/he will be responsible for working with the biomedical equipment technician (BMET) team to coordinate in-kind equipment needs assessment, donation, repair and maintenance. She/he will also oversee the rebuild of the Maniche Health Center and provide logistic and administrative support for all other project trainings, and meetings. The Project Coordinator will serve as a liaison between HEI teams and partner organizations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Help strengthen the Southwest Corridor Referral Network by establishing the Southwest Corridor
Healthcare Alliance
• Participate in meetings and workshops with a primary function of building the network and following
up with partners
• Help facilitate communication, collaboration, and mentorship at the seven target sites within the
Southwest Corridor Healthcare Alliance.
• Facilitate the establishment of a Disaster Preparedness Subcommittee
• Coordinate and provide assistance during committee and subcommittee meetings
• Oversee MNCH trainings at SBH and at the seven target facilities
• Coordinate / support disaster preparedness trainings at SBH and at the seven target facilities
• Work with BMET and Biomed consultant to determine the needs and capacities of the target health
facilities in biomedical equipment
• Coordinate in-kind medical equipment donations
• Liaise with the supply chain team to help coordinate distribution of in kind equipment, spare parts, and
accessories
• Coordinate / Support the repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment
• Support Build health International (BHI) team during the design and reconstruction of the Maniche
health center
• Ensure stakeholder buy-in for the Maniche health center reconstruction including the church, the
Haitian Ministry of Health (MSPP), and the Maniche community.
• Oversee the mobile clinic activities in Maniche and support the local staff’s capacity building.
• Track and report on project activities and results
• Submit monthly report to Senior Program Manager as specified
• Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications réquises

Qualifications
• At least five years of experience in a related field
• Proven skills in project coordination and logistics
• Demonstrated experience in organizational and administrative coordination
• Fluent in oral/written English and Haitian Creole
• Strong written, oral, communications, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication with clinical and administrative teams
• Ability to work well with government, non-governmental organizations and a wide range of
stakeholders in project implementation;
• Dedicated to serving vulnerable populations
• Willingness to travel
