Fonctions

Main Responsabilities :
• Lead, coordinate and provide expert technical support for the elaboration, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of a national gender policy, strategy and plan for the internal and external mainstreaming of Gender Equality in Plan Haiti
• Coordinate the internal mapping of implementation of Plan’s Gender Equality Protocol, an external situational analysis of gender equality, inclusion and non-discrimination and, based on these, develop a national gender policy and action plan.
• Support the development of national, regional and global-level position papers in this area as appropriate.


Qualifications réquises

Profile required :
• Minimum 5 years program experience in international development, preferably in Haiti.
• Strong technical capacity and practical experience of managing and designing international development programs in the area of gender equality, women´s empowerment and preferably diversity and inclusion.
• University degree in development or other relevant discipline. Preferably with specialization in gender.
• Good familiarity, networking and working relationships with different donors and other partner organizations key to this area from within the region and preferably also globally.
• Fluency in English and French. Spanish and Creole are desirable.
• Proven skills in child and youth-centered programming and in human rights based approach
• Self-driven, organized and results-oriented people leader
• Proven computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and internet use.
