Fonctions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Directly supervise a staff of 3 (2 case worker coordinators and 1 data clerk)
2. Actively participate to the work of the Separated and Unaccompanied Children work group (SUCWG) which is part of the Child Protection sub-cluster, ensures coordination of CRS’ activities with the SUCWG and provides information about CRS’ activities and progresses in this area
3. Oversee the implementation of the separated and unaccompanied children program component and ensure that stated objectives are met, that activities are appropriately monitored and evaluated and, that reports narrative and financial are written and submitted in a timely manner
4. Ensure the sub-hubs are established and functioning, provide assistance and coordination for the smooth implementation of the registration and family tracing and reunification activities (FTR)
5. Provide technical support to staff and partners, organize and deliver relevant training
6. Recruit and orient new staff as needed
7. Participate and effectively communicate and coordinates the registration and FTR activities with the rest of the protection team
8. In collaboration with the Cross-border Protection PM coordinates the registration and FTR activities on the border with his counterparts in DR


Qualifications réquises

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Masters degree in social studies, law or other relevant field
2. Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in child and youth protection;
3. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage staff;
4. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically;
5. Demonstrated ability to write concise, analytical and well-argued reports;
6. Demonstrated training skills;
7. Ability to multi-task, handle pressure well, and improvise; flexibility; adaptability to
