Tender Notice for Logistical Services

Background:-

UMCOR’s Haiti mission is to providing emergency response, early recovery and transitional development assistance in the affected regions of Haiti after Matthew Hurricane. UMCOR intends innovatively bridging the gap between immediate relief and long-term community development program by partnering with communities on front lines.
The proposed project aims to facilitate the transport of Office furniture from P-au-P to Les Cayes.

In order to transport these mentioned items to Les Cayes; UMCOR seeks service provider/ providers to provide Logistics Services. The service provider/ providers will be in charge of all UMCOR furniture and equipment in good shape and ensure transportations/delivery of items at UMCOR Satellite Office in Les Cayes.

Description:-

United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) Haiti invites sealed B from reputed and eligible firms/suppliers/Distributors/agents registered from DGI. Applying contractors must have capacity to ensure transportation of Office furniture and equipment well in time at the agreed locations in les Cayes. The delivery point will be communicated to the selected provider before signing of contract. Office furniture and equipment specified below must be delivered in less than 05 days after signing of contract with UMCOR Haiti. Noted the contractor shall be solely responsible of transportation and 100% insurance coverage.

Deliverables:-
Service provider/providers/vendor is responsible for transportation of above items provided:

Desks, Chairs, File Cabinets, Tables, Water Coolers, Refrigerator, Desktops, UPS, Printers, ACs, Generator, Inverter, Batteries, Containers, Ceiling Fan, Stand Fans, Fire extinguisher etc.

General Requirements:-
• Contractor/service provider should have demonstrated relevant experience in agricultural input supplies
• Has DGI register from Haitian Government
• Should have at least 04 years of experience in dealing same assignments’
• Should give detailed information about location of business and be ready to accept site visit before signing of contract
• Incomplete Bids will not be considered
• Complete Banking information: name of Bank, Address, Account number, Account Name, any sorting codes are mandatory
• Detailed contact information of vendor is required
• Bidders shall be responsible to bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of their tenders. UMCOR has no liability to pay any expenditure of documentation/travelling etc

Bids Evaluation:-
The evaluation will be carried out in accordance with defined policies and procedures of UMCOR. There will be evaluation of technical bids which represent 60% of the points and then evaluation of financial bids which represent 40% of the points. The Bidders selected on technical grounds would be eligible to compete for financial evaluation
Refusal of Bids:-
UMCOR Haiti reserves the right to cancel tender process or to reject all bids without incurring any liability to bidders.
UMCOR Haiti takes no responsibility for Furniture and Equipment until it is delivered in Les Cayes.

Submission of Bids:-

• The contractors are requested to submit sealed Bids within 03 days for consideration.
• Inspection will do on site
• The bid must include:
a) 100% insurance coverage
b) Delivery period
c) Bids must be accompanied by Technical and Financial in separate envelop
