Introduction


Fonctions

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• To devise a strategic information plan for all CRS health emergency response activities in Haiti in collaboration with program leadership.
• To implement said strategy through the design of tools and training of staff both at the central office and at partner sites.
• To design and maintain all data collection and analysis systems required for effective adaptive management.
• To ensure regular, accurate monitoring reports from the CRS office and its Points Of Service (POS) (monthly, quarterly, annually) on all required indicators.
• To provide HMIS training to Stakeholders (CRS and its partners, POS, Temporary Data Entry Staff, etc).
• To conduct site visits to each POS and provide technical assistance.
• To provide additional trainings as necessary.
• To provide quality control/assurance.
• To maintain all field administrative requirements.
• To perform other responsibilities as needed.
• Developing informatics contracts/subcontract agreements.


Qualifications réquises

EDUCATION:
Masters level in Public Health, Health Administration or related health field.

EXPERIENCE:
• 5 years of relevant experience preferably in epidemiological or clinical setting.
• Working familiarity with epidemiology and public health strategies.
• Preference will be given to candidates with developing country work experience.
• Experience leading technical teams.

SKILLS:
• Strong organizational skills including demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, sound judgment, and ability to complete identified tasks.
• Ability to promote collaboration among Country Stakeholders.
• Expert computer skills, in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office integration.
• Strong internet skills .NET, Sharepoint Portals, PDA, handheld devices.
• Familiar with epidemiological and GIS software (Epi Info, Map Info, Google Earth, etc…).
• Experience developing electronic clinical forms, reporting tools for international settings.
