Introduction

CRS/HAITI is looking for a dynamic Compensation and Benefit Assistant for its office based in Les Cayes. This person will assist the Cayes Human Ressources Officer in maintaining the integrity of the CRS/HT personnel policy in accordance with CRS standards and established Haitian Labor Cod.


Fonctions

PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES:

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for secretarial and administrative assignment, including written correspondence in English and in French; s/he will work closely with the Finance department to follow-up Unit requests; s/he will review financial reports before their submission to Managers and liquidation to Finance. She is expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Organization’s partners.

SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES
1. Assist Emergency Program Manager in tracking projects expenditures and budgets. Communicate regularly with administration and finance departments to ensure accurate allocation, expenditure, and accounting of resources.
2. Organize and maintain project files records.
3. Maintain specific records with finance, purchasing, administration and personnel departments.
4. Perform a variety of administrative and secretarial duties.
5. Control office supplies, materials and equipments of the Emergency Unit and re-order as necessary.
6. Provide on-the-job capacity-building support to partners in the field of finance reporting.
7. Perform field visits to evaluate and ensure compliance of partners to project procedures and financial reporting.
8. Assist preparation of high-quality project reports and periodic assessments as scheduled and requested by Emergency Program Manager.
9. Collaborate with finance department for partner’s project financial analysis.
10. Prepare logistic and attend all regular meetings and workshops organized by Emergency Unit, and prepare the minutes.
11. Perform other duties as necessary or requested.


Qualifications réquises

1. Formal studies/training in secretarial skills
2. Two (2) years of experience in the performance of similar responsibilities.
3. Excellent organizational, and communication skills.
4. Excellent written and spoken English and French.
5. Strong computer skills
6. Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience working with public and/or private sector in related field.
7. Ability to work under pressure
8. Knowledge and experience in basic accounting and financial management highly desirable.
