JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
INGO IS LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES FOR THE POSITION OF SPECIALIST IN SAVING GROUPS

PURPOSE

Serve as the coordinator of all activities related to Micro finance for the MYAP/ Agriculture Program. The focus will be on ensuring successful training, creation, implementation, and supervision of all saving groups and other activities related to Micro finance activities.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train and assist all MYAP staff in saving groups
• Design an appropriate staff’s training plan and assist in developing appropriate training modules
• Supervise all activities in Micro Finance Projects and saving groups
• Mobilize community for saving groups
• Create, restructure and monitor Saving groups
• Assist in developing and promoting Saving Groups in all MYAP program areas.
• Train and assist in management and accounting procedures for entrepreneurs and model farmers
• Strengthen groups entrepreneurial capacities
• Establish contract agreement or MOU with other financial institutions
• Ensure the planning and the management of Micro Finance activities
• Represent MYAP/WORLD VISION in all workshops and conferences based on Micro Finance activities
• Promote working collaboration with financial institutions to bring appropriate business development services to program beneficiaries
• Coordinate and assist in any program evaluations and special studies
• Provide a monthly report of program progress
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold university degree in accounting or finance science.
• Have proven experience in Micro finance in Haiti.
• Have basic knowledge in training, implementation and monitoring of saving groups in Haiti.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
• Good computer and Internet skills are highly desired.
