The Master Trainer of the Haiti Apparel Center (HAC) is part of the Training Component within the Haiti Apparel Center, reporting to the HAC Operations Manager. S/he holds responsibility for training basic and advanced techniques of industrial sewing to students.

•Train students on the basics of sewing materials handling.
•Train students on the steps to become “basic” operators.
•Train students in quality control of textile products.
•Produce evaluation reports in a timely manner while respecting international standards.
•On-time availability, readiness for use, and maintenance of all training materials, supplies, equipment and other training assets;
•Safe and healthy operation of Training activities and work space and equipment;
•Work with outside factories (offsite).
•Train to efficiency for advanced students
•Train on writing training proposals.

•Have at least five (5) years experience as a supervisor in an industrial sewing factory;
•Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team and under pressure;
•Must demonstrate leadership qualities;
•Good understanding of modern global apparel industry practices;
•Ability to mentor students and address all problems with patience and professionalism;
•Fluency on Creole, French and English;
•Responsible and a self starter. Proactive in all aspects.
•Demonstration of technical expertise in engineering.
