Introduction

To Assist the Deputy Human Resources Manager in maintaining the integrity of the CRS/HT personnel policy in accordance with CRS standards and established Haitian Labor Code and in addressing important personnel management issues: (contracting, compensation and benefits issues).


Fonctions



1. Review and become familiar with the CRS\Haiti personnel policy and the Haitian Labor Code; Ensure compliance of the CRS\Haiti Personnel Policy with Haitian Labor Laws; Ensure integrity in the correct application of CRS/Haiti internal regulations and procedures;

2. Be informed on the evolution on the Labor law and general HR practice and back up the Supervisor in ensuring updating of procedures, personnel manual when needed;

3. Ensure personnel manual and all updating is authorized by BRO;

4. Prepare the performance ranking list and make the follow up with Finance Department; prepare memo to each employee to announce their performance salary raised;

5. Prepare all recruitment contract as requested by the Personnel Assistant;

6. Ensure all new hires have received the necessary paper for their orientation as well as their payment on time;

7. As indicated by supervisor, take necessary action for all change of status/salary and new recruiters and ensure follow up with Finance Department;

8. Manage all employees’ benefits including holiday and vacation entitlement, fitness activity, plan psychological session and ensure that every new employee is registered to the collective pension plan, the insurance plan and in ONA ensure staff obtained their booklet accordingly. Notify the Bank and the Insurance Company and ONA accordingly of any change in employee status or separation. Take action on all claims. Reconcile pension and insurance plan monthly bill; with the approval of supervisor, and in coordination with the finance department ensure follow up; As annual vision examinations are required for all CRS drivers or messengers, ensure for record purposes the optometrist’s report is submitted every year to the department by every driver and make the follow up for reimbursement;













9. Keep an excellent communication with the Law Firm, Bank and Insurance company;

10. Minimize legal risk by ensuring accurate calculation of staff legal severance and any other benefits he is entitled upon departure and send information to finance;

11. Confirm staff gives back material to Supervisor by receiving discharge and send copy to Finance before payment;

12. Liaise with Ex-employee to ensure payment of severance to CRS when applicable;

13. Ensure staff will not pursue legally CRS by giving discharge to CRS and confirming reception of last payment as final and definitive;

14. Back up supervisor in the annual award process and follow up;

15. Assist supervisor in promoting a good work atmosphere among staff;

16. Perform any other task necessary to the smooth functioning of the department as directed by supervisor.






Qualifications réquises

• Associate Degree in Business Administration;

• 3 years experience in Personnel Management;

• Experience in personnel development;

• Fluency in written and spoken English and French;

• Computer Literate in Word processing (Microsoft), spreadsheets, databases software;

• Good communication skills;

• Good personality;

• High level of Confidentiality;

• Organizational, planning, analytical, and problems solving skills;
