Overview
The MIS Specialist guarantees the proper functioning of the computers, and Communication materials. He is responsible for following activities: administration, maintenance, troubleshooting system and network. He manages and controls all daily support to users.

OVERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee the installation of computer hardware and software (Operating Systems & Application software)
2. Assure the proper configuration of all network hardware and software, with the support of MSH IT services USA
3. Manage the virtual server system and its network
4. Assure that the daily checklist is properly performed and completed
5. Oversee troubleshooting of any hardware or software network problem to assure that the solutions are correct and properly applied
6. Control backups at least weekly to assure that they are properly recording information
7. Personally check antivirus and internet settings on a weekly basis to assure that they are properly set and running the most recent updates
8. Assist IT USA team in any network updates or changes
9. Perform other duties as needed

REQUIRED
• Degree/Advance Diploma in IT or Computer Science from recognized University/College
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in IT field
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Professional
• Experience with virtual server systems as well as Microsoft Exchange server configurations
• Experience with Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Cisco routers, and firewalls
• Experience working with relational databases (Oracle 10g, SQL and MS Access)
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral, in French and English
