Fonctions

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Business Development supervisor, he/she will be responsible for identifying and building up existing small and medium businesses affected by the earthquake in Port-au-Prince. The Supervisor will oversee the teams to ensure smooth running of activities. He / she will organize and guarantee that activities are completed on timely manner and according to donor proposals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in the implementation and conduct of activities: Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings (FGDs), registration of businesses, distribution of cash vouchers, reviewing business plans and offering suggestions / ways of improving Small Medium Enterprises, monitoring progress of revolving loans and microfinance.
• Complete and submit a weekly and monthly reports to the FSL Manager and Deputy Manager (and other reports when there is a need).
• Participate in the establishment of criteria for selecting beneficiaries, and the selection of beneficiaries, especially small and medium businesses.
• Represent the project in coordination meetings with partners working on FSL.
• Participate in the creation of tools for monitoring and evaluation, participate in assessment surveys and monitoring, and analyze data / results.
• Manage and monitor daily activities, focusing on the creation of employment or operations that offer amenities to business affected by the earthquake.
• Participate in the drafting of donor proposals and report.


Qualifications réquises

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Hold a University degree in economics or other social sciences, with emphasis on Business Development.
• Have at least 5 years experience working on development projects.
• Have at least 2 years experience in implementing community projects and good knowledge of the Haitian business context.
• Have knowledge of donor projects: Indications, results, project cycle, etc.
• Be able to work effectively and efficiently, and independent.
• Have good communications skills, both writing and verbally: in English and French.
