The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to- day operations of the WC Emergency Response Program (ERP) in Haiti. The primary function is to ensure operational readiness and capability and converting this into a robust program that is effective in meeting the ERP goals. The incumbent provides operational support to the various elements of the ERP and ensures continuous vitality, morale and teamwork among the staff. Reporting to the Emergency Coordinator, this is a Senior Management Position.

Required profile:
• Bachelor degree in science management, development science and special degree in program management is a plus;
• At least 3 - 5 years operational and programmatic management experience;
• Leadership that is characterized by integrity and honesty, with an ability to speak the truth in love;
• A good understanding and experience of transformational development and discipleship;
• Good at multitasking and making decisions, quick and efficient in solving problems;
• A resilient person with a strong leadership background and good communication skills;
• The ability to utilize computers as a resource for communication flow and management;
• Fluent in English;
• The ability to develop positive and trusting intercultural and interdenominational relationships;
• Requires travel within the country;
• Living conditions may be basic and simple, depending on situation;
• Cross cultural working and living environment that requires versatility;
• Must be available immediately.
