Introduction

The position is responsible for assisting with preparation of financial statements, maintaining cash controls, supervising the payroll and personnel administration, purchasing, maintaining accounts payable and managing office operations. The Administrative Coordinator must work within local policies, procedures and Legislation.
This position routinely interacts with key management personnel throughout the local and overseas company.


Fonctions

 Supervise administrative services within the office such: communications, general services, security, etc.
 Handle the daily treasure operations: cash payments from non-credit clients, banking operations, money transactions, clients payments, etc., arranging financing and preparing reports
 Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures
 Responsible for the processing and verification necessary to ensure accurate and timely payment of all clients invoices
 General Ledger accounting/bookkeeping, journal entries, monthly close, account reconciliations, and preparation of financials.
 Assist with financial statement audit.
 Implement a system of internal controls, business processes and procedures.
 Preparation of reports to summarize and forecast company business activity.
 Collation/monitoring of data, providing cost control information for management purposes.
 Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
 Establishing appropriate interface with banks and financial institutions.
 Preparation of the requisite financial statements and reports.
 Handle the day to day accounting.
 Prepare period-end/monthly operating reports and financial statement.


Qualifications réquises

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• APA or MBA preferred
• Experience in Customs Regulations
• Advance knowledge of local taxes regulations and labor laws
• 3 - 5 years prior experience in similar jobs (Administration, Finance)
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees (across functional lines and departments)
• Demonstrated ability to multi task, achieve results and meet deadlines
• Strong time management and organization skills
• MUST have advanced / strong Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with the analysis of financial data
• Team orientation
• Languages: French/English/Spanish (desirable)
