Introduction

Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC), a five-year global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is dedicated to achieving and maintaining HIV epidemic control. Epic is led by FHI 360 with core partners Right to Care (RTC), Palladium, Population Services International (PSI), and Gobee Group. The project also draws upon regional resource partners to provide technical assistance and global resource partners who bring unique capacities. Epic has been modified to accept COVID-19 funding to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and bolster health systems to address COVID-19 and re-emergence.


Fonctions

The finance associate is responsible to prepare and review financial information. He manages account records, processes transactions, and analyzes financial data. He also advises senior managers and internal departments on best practices to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
• Track and reconcile bank statements
• Payroll & Tax Payment Processing
• Cash Request
• Prepare payments (My Cash from beneficiaries in the field; from suppliers, etc.)
• Record payments on GFAS
• Closing of the month (Between 1-3 of the following month).
• EGHS & EPIC allocation

? OFATM
? Gross Salar
? Employee’s Insurance
? Employee retirement funds
• Reconcile the two accounts (HTG & USD) on GFAS & EXCEL
• Post the balance sheets on GLRI (Between the 4-10 of the following month)
• Prepare and/or verify travel budgets
• Reconcile travel expenses
• Receipt and processing of expenses related to field activities
• Payment of beneficiaries on the field via the Moncash platform
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the manager.


Qualifications réquises



ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCES



• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field.

• At least 2 years experience working as a finance associate.

• Proficiency in integrated financial management software, such as FreshBooks and NetSuite.

• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.
