Introduction

The WMS & Performance Manager supports the maintenance of management information system(s) for the GHSC-PSM project in the Fleuriot warehouse, more specifically mSupply, the current warehouse management information system. He/She will also be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Leadership in measuring, tracking, and improving the warehouse’s performance through dashboards, data management, coaching/training and development of new or improved standard operating procedures. The WMS & Performance Manager provides support to the project team by ensuring that mSupply is used in the most efficient way to support the warehouse operations, its management and provide data for decision making when required. He/She will ensure the integrity, completeness and quality of the data captured, run routine maintenance procedures, identify processes than can be included in mSupply, provide training and support to current users and new users, manage access rights, develop and/or generate new reports in the required format in a timely fashion.
As a member of the GHSC-PSM team the WMS & Performance Manager will contribute with the IT/Network support staff responsible for deploying and maintaining all IT System (hardware and software) housed in the warehouse.


Fonctions

Specific tasks to be completed under this SOW are as follows:
• Ensure that mSupply is always functional to support the reception, warehousing, and distribution activities of the warehouse.
• Support the operation team in all daily issues related to the use of mSupply and its peripheral devices (e.g., label printers).
• Train and support users on the mSupply modules relevant to their functions. Develop training plans and conduct On the Job/classroom training.
• Identify ways for improving the warehouse staff’s performance and the warehouse activities considering the speed of each transaction and their overall flow.
• Produce, write, standard operating procedures including process flows to improve overall operating performance and throughput.
• Develop dashboard to monitor/track the warehouse’s key performance indicators and conduct coaching sessions as needed with warehouse staff to help their understanding and improve results. Such coaching sessions will be conceived and conducted in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager and General Manager.
• Monitors, investigates, and resolves all incomplete receipts, put-aways, replenishments, pick tasks, ship confirmation, etc.
• Assist with the review and definition of various data elements.
• Recommend the use of other mSupply functions to improve the automation of operations.
• Assign adequate software rights and access to users.
• Report any identified bugs or system issues to management.
• Troubleshoot mSupply as needed.
• Liaise with mSupply support team and submit to management for approval.
• Generate routine reports for submission to management according to an agreed schedule.
• Create custom reports, perform data analysis, and export data from mSupply in a timely manner as required.
• Maintain system dashboards, reports, and queries to support evolving business processes including from legacy systems like MACS.
• Assist with the use and/or improvement of other systems used by GHSC-PSM
• Work in collaboration with other team members to support use of data and decision making.
• Update mSupply when new versions are available.
• Perform any required mSupply maintenance procedures.
• Ensure the security of the mSupply database.
• Implement and perform proper back-up procedures.
• Work with GHSC-PSM Haiti and home office to ensure compliance with IT policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications réquises

• Higher Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer sciences.
• A minimum of five years in working with and maintaining relational database management information systems.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management software is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in developing custom reports using report generator software.
• Experience in training and supporting system users.
• Experience in conducting data analysis.
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and within timelines.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and high ethical standards.
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite applications including Access, Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Able to work in Haiti
• Able to work in team environment.
• Proficiency I French and Haitian Creole required. Able to communicate in English, especially reading/writing, is preferred.
