Fonctions

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Under the overall supervision of the Shelter-NFI-DRR project manager in Haiti and the direct supervision of the senior Shelter-NFI-DRR assistant; The project assistant shelter-NFI will be responsible and accountable for supporting activities related to Shelter and NFI that provide assistance to people displaced or affected by insecurity or disasters. The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Organize and maintain project files record relate to NFI management, including pipeline
• Monitor, coordinate and participate in loading / unloading operations, ensure that trucks depart with the earmarked NFI and quantities.

• Liaise with other respective units ( operation units) as required in to handle requests and queries
• Support the management of the pipeline system and the follow-up of the partners' contracts and distribution reports.

• On delegation of the supervisor participate in various sector meetings CCCM, shelter- NFI in the field or at National level
• Follow up on PR and PO with the logistics unit the units activities

• Support field teams in the distribution of NFIs and verify that activities are conducted in line with donor requirements and project documents, and that reporting requirements are produced in a timely and to high quality;
• Conduct reports on NFI inventory, in/out by updating stock and updating tracking documents ( pipeline)
• Submit report of activities in collaboration with the M&E officer
• Ensure compliance with IOM data protection principles
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications réquises

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• University degree in Business Administration, management, or related field from a accredited academic institution with 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in IOM administrative procedures
• Experience in the usage of office software packages ( word, Excel) and knowledge of spreadsheet and data management.
• Experience in coordination and collaboration with external partners
• Ability to work diplomatically, with empathy and tact.
• Ability to work with people from different backgrounds
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and in a sometimes difficult and stressful environment

LANGUAGES (IOM’s official languages are English, French, and Spanish)

Fluency in French is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of English.
