Introduction
DHL Express International Haiti. S.A is currently looking for qualified candidates for an HR manager position under the direct supervision of the Country Manager.
Fonctions
- Administers core human resource processes including employment, labor and employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and workforce planning within a specific country (Haiti).
- Responsible for the management of policies, processes and practices related to employment, labor relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and workforce planning.
- Provide input to the organization’s strategic planning initiatives as required by the Caribbean HR Director or as requested by District Manager.
- Deliver a high level of quality generalist and specialist HR to all levels of management and employees within the designated country.
- Provide guidance and direction to Station Managers teams or individuals during organizational change and OD initiatives.
- Seek appropriate guidance from, and represent DHL in all relevant statutory bodies and courts/tribunals relating to grievances/complaints made by employees.
- Develop working relationships with all levels of management.
- Conducts executive, exempt, technical, non-technical and nonexempt recruiting support and counsel including sourcing, interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks, preparing correspondence, and extending employment offers.
- Coordinates, partners and delivers vendor and/or DHL-developed (CIS) training courses for employees; Coordinate/Oversee CIS activities and ensure that the CIS culture is lived at all levels of the local organization.
- Prepares reports and analyzes data from human resource information systems for information reporting and management decision making.
- Develops internal communication materials regarding benefits, compensation, and other human resources policies and procedures or other internal business issues.
- Monitor the environment of labor relations in light of current laws and proposed changes, and take appropriate action to communicate and give support in correspondent event.
- Become involved in employee disciplinary and grievance matters such as conducting investigations in accordance with DHL policies to ensure due process and minimize legal action wherever possible.
- Manage the annual employee opinion survey promoting the management and staff commitment.
- Be sure that exit interviews are implemented within the country, ensuring that the results are provided to Department Managers and their Functional Managers and are used within other appropriate issues.
- Ensure communication mechanisms to inform employees and provide them with the opportunities for giving feedback. Examples: Staff meetings, staff newsletters and etc.
- Assist with organizational design strategies within the business
- Formulate best practice HR policies, procedures and Manager guidelines as required, ensuring these are maintained current and legally compliant.
- Promote and participate, as required, in a broad range of local and regional initiatives including talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, Go Green, Go Tech, Go Help, Employee Opinion Surveys, First Choice and Employer of Choice programs.
- Lead by example to contribute to the development of a high performance service culture within the HR department
- Identify appropriate learning, development and succession planning activities for direct report whitin our “Employee Development Review” program.
- Provide input to the "Induction Program of DHL" content and assuring that the program is delivered in the units of the country.
- Work with managers and employees to investigate and resolve employee relations issues.
- Deliver coaching, training and information sessions on a regular basis related to attraction & retention, feedback sessions, change management, business briefs, people management techniques and information surrounding DHL policies.
Qualifications réquises
- Degree in Human resources or in Business or equivalent experience in HR Management roles, in small size and medium size organizations
- A minimum of 5 years generalist/specialist HR management experience in small to medium organizations
- HR experience in foreign countries (United States, Canada, French islands, …) an asset
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate to advanced MicroSoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi task a variety of priority tasks and projects
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes
- Advanced level in French, English, Haitian Creole (Written & oral); Spanish an asset.
