Fonctions

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Under the overall supervision of the Supply Chain Officer in Haiti and direct supervision of the Senior Warehouse Assistant, the incumbent shall be responsible and accountable for ensuring that warehouse and associated activities are undertaken in order to facilitate the smooth and efficient warehousing processes. Provide excellent levels of customer service by assisting the warehouse to ensure all movements of stock are correctly documented and dealt with in a timely, controlled, accurate and economic manner IOM in Haiti, in accordance with the Organization’s regulations and procedures.
1. Implementing inventory systems and procedures in the warehouse.
2. Conduct daily/periodical physical counts to ensure accuracy in the inventory numbers.
3. Perform daily stockpile, incoming / outgoing goods reports by updating stock and bin cards.
4. Keeping track of incoming / outgoing commodities through the reception, revision and processing of goods receipt / delivery notes.
5. Conduct internal movements and relocations of the goods stored at the warehouse as requested by the Senior Warehouse Assistant, assuring that stocks are arranged in accordance with warehouse management procedures.
6. Consolidate and prepare NFI kits when requested. Verify completed kits for accuracy and completeness.
7. Participate in loading / unloading operations, ensure that trucks depart with the earmarked goods and quantities.
8. Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Officer, conduct assessments in affected communities to identify and quantify needs.
9. Complete a Supply Application Form (SAF) based on completed needs assessments.
10. Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Officer, organize and implement distributions of stock in accordance with approved Supply Application Form.
11. Submit report of distribution activities to Warehouse Inventory Clerk.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications réquises

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Qualification in bachelor’s in business administration or Logistics, or, alternatively, an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 2 years of experience in store and/or warehouse management.
• 2 years of experience in conducting field campaigns, such as distributions. Previous experience with an international organization a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results, respect for diversity, creative thinking.
• Experience in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability of working effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied culture and professional backgrounds to achieve desired goals.;
• In depth knowledge of the broad range of migration related subject areas dealt with by the Organization; and,
• Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming.
• Knowledge of Warehouse procedures

LANGUAGES (IOM’s official languages are English, French, and Spanish)

Fluency in Haitian Creole and French (oral and written). Working knowledge in English an advantage.
